Based in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Slapout is a goofy little band named after a small Oklahoma town and a child's game of slapping one another. Former bass players include an attorney, a flea market owner, and guy who would only wear fur on-stage. Former drummers include a radio station owner, a 12-year-old, and a machine named cousin Echo. Currently, D-Mac (right) plays rhythm and lead guitar, banjo, and ukelele, while adding his own vocals and lyrics. The Hughman (left) plays a greasy trombone, some cross harp, rhythm guitar and also "vocalizes" some heart felt catharsis. These boys play bookstores, fairs, church halls, all-ages clubs, adult entertainment environments, civic club luncheons, and an assortment of other "low expectation" events.
